Vegetable Upma

Upma is a popular breakfast dish from South India, made with roasted semolina (cream of wheat) and various spices. It is served with chutney, and garnished with cilantro.


Upma is served as a breakfast snack or a light meal. While a cup of Madras Coffee pairs best with Upma, a desi masala chai is also very apt to be had with this snack.

Aloo Poha

Poha is a popular snack and breakfast dish - a delicious and nutritious dish that is enjoyed by people all over India and Indians around the world. Poha is made with flattened rice (also known as beaten rice or rice flakes).


It is served with  a garnish of thin sev, pomegranate and an optional dash of onions as toppings It is a popular choice for a quick and light meal.

Poori Bhaji

Simple and delightfully tasty, this Maharashtrian-style Puri Bhaji (also known as Poori Bhaji) is a favorite Indian breakfast and street snack. A deeply flavored semi-dry potato preparation which we call Batata Bhaji or Sukka Bhaji is served with crisp, fried rounds of dough known as Poori or Puri for a lovely and filling meal. Served with a side of chopped onions.

Aloo Parantha

Perhaps the most favourite breakfast snack, specially in Northern India - Aloo Parantha is a whole wheat pan-grilled flatbread stuffed with a spiced potato filling.


This parantha is best served with yogurt, pickle with a choice to add a side serving of chhole. Best enjoyed with a steaming cup of hot desi masala Chai.
